Birth Parents Placement Process
Simple Steps to Follow:- Contact us on our Toll-Free birth parent line 1-877-4ANGEL-0 (zero) 24 hours a day, 7 hours a week.
- Look for your information packet in the mail.
- Complete and return all forms in the envelope provided along with a proof of pregnancy from your doctor or local clinic.
- Expect a call from a caring member of our staff.
- Discuss your adoption plan.
- Travel and living arrangements will be made.
- A case manager will meet you at the airport if you choose to travel to Utah.
- You have the opportunity to choose your adoptive family.
- Begin making a delivery and placement plan with your counselor.
- Your birth parent coordinator will be with you through the labor and delivery of your baby so you will not be alone.
- No sooner than 24 hours after the baby is born, you will sign documents consenting to the adoption.
- During your adoption process, you will have support, love and understanding.
- You will rest and recover at your apartment for up to 10 days after delivery.
- Travel plans will be made for you to return home.
- You will receive medical confinement expenses to assist you financially while you are medically restricted due to your delivery and placement.
Our birth parent housing includes spacious one and two bedroom apartments completely furnished with all the necessities you will need to be comfortable during your stay. Our apartment complex is in a safe and secure community close to shopping malls, movie theaters and grocery stores.
Please be assured that if you choose A Guardian Angel Adoptions, LLC, we can present prospective adoptive families that have been carefully screened to ensure that they are capable of being a wonderful family for your baby.
Following is a list of some of the requirements that our families must meet:
- They must have cleared criminal background and abuse checks.
- They are required to meet with a physician to assure that they are healthy as well as emotionally stable.
- Their home must be carefully checked by the social worker to make certain that it would be a safe environment for your child.
- They must be financially stable to care for an additional child.
- They must be able to provide medical insurance, life insurance, an education, and all of the necessities of life, without difficulty.
