Welcome to A Guardian Angel Adoptions, a fully licensed national newborn adoption and domestic infant adoption agency based in the state of Utah! We understand that adoption is a challenging time, for both birth parents and families hoping to adopt, and here at A Guardian Angel, we are committed to being with you every step of the way through the adoption process. Whether you are a birth mother or a family looking to adopt, we sincerely want to help you through your adoption journey.
What Sets Us Apart
While you have several options for domestic infant adoption, we at A Guardian Angel are particularly qualified as a newborn adoption agency. All of the women on our birth mom line, as well as the owners and managers of A Guardian Angel, are either adoptive mothers or birth mothers themselves. Because of this, we have insight and added perspective on just what you are feeling, and we want to share that with you as you to ease this difficult process.
At A Guardian Angel, we strongly emphasize ethics in adoption. The safety of the birth parents, the child, and the adoptive family are paramount. Our social work team has thousands of hours of adoption experience, and we only work with highly trained professionals in the social work arena. In each situation, we make sure to have close contact with our social work and legal teams in each situation.
We are dedicated to serving both adoptive families and birth parents with programs uniquely suited to each individual situation.
For Birth Parents
For birth parents, we offer several free services to make sure you are as comfortable as possible through the entire process. Some of these free services include a toll-free birth parent line that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; counseling; medical care; medical confinement expenses; legal assistance; safe and clean housing during your pregnancy; and more. Take a look at our list of simple steps that you can follow through the entire process.
Our birth mother programs are specially crafted to suit a wide variety of situations. We understand that the decision to place a child for adoption is not an easy one. Many of the people on our staff are birth mothers themselves, and so they feel a special bond with you. We want to ensure that you are taken care of and comfortable every step of the way. Because many of us have direct experience with newborn adoption, we understand just what you’re going through, and we are here to help.
For Adoptive Parents
For prospective parents interested in newborn adoption, we also realize that the process can be very overwhelming. In addition to our caring staff, who are readily available to assist in any way you need, we offer several specific services to facilitate your adoption and make sure that everything goes smoothly.
The adoption process begins when your family fills out an application. Once you have sent us all of the signed documents and completed a home study (either with us or another source that adheres to similar professional adoption standard to A Guardian Angel’s), our social workers will review your information and send you an approval letter. Then, you will be ready to be presented to and matched with a potential birth mother.
Over the course of the infant adoption process, we will remain by your side. Other services we provide you include several educational opportunities, interstate compact services, legal services, counseling, and many others. We have compiled several financial assistance options that various organizations have available to cut down on the possible financial burden of adoption. We also work hard to make sure that your waiting periods are short and don’t get drawn out unnecessarily. Our goal is to help you adopt in months, rather than years.
